Mr. Murase is a long time friend of ALCO and many of the ALCO dealers. During our days, prior to and after ALCO, Mr. Murase was Senior Vice President of the Reprographic Products Group of Canon USA when many of us became dealers and when all of us became Canon Dealers and many (if not all) of us became members of the ALCO team.

After returning to Japan to serve as the President of Canon Sales Company for the Japanese market in May of 1999 until March 2009 at which time he was named Chairman of Canon Marketing Japan Inc. (previously known as Canon Sales Company).

Mr. and Mrs. Murase (Haruo and Michiko), now reside in Ginza, Tokyo. Mr. Murase said about the "AOP Today" Blog,  "I see so many familiar faces (from now and then) and it is quite nice.
