Bob and Kex/Copysource, joined the Alco Office Products family in 1978 and in fact, was the very first office machine company of the group.   Bob was Founder and CEO of Kex.

He still lived in the same home in Rochester but, spent winters in Florida. Bob's wife Dorie passed away in 2002.

When I spoke with Bob (3/27/12), he was very excited to know about the AOP friends that we have located and thought the idea of recording the information about all of us in "one place" (AOP Blog) and keeping it current as long as we can, is a good idea and much fun!  His daughter agreed to go through some old ALCO pictures of Bob to add to the blog!

Sad indeed but such a wonderful and kind man. I always appreciated how people like Bob (as well as Talbot and you Jim!) made time to mentor us "younger" guys. Hope all is well with you.

I saw Bob at Paul Mannings funeral less than one year ago.. he was still playing golf but only 3 x's a week --9 holes. Bob was a man of integrity . He had a way of "getting" what motivated sales reps. He was very loyal. There are many of us from old Kex in NY who care about Bob and also love our history. We will miss him!

I have kept in touch with Bob through the years, just spoke to him a few weeks ago. He indicated to me that he had slowed down, but still golfed for nine holes a few days a week with his buddies. Bob was a great man.

I attended the funeral today and spent time with Bobs family , friends . It was a very nice service.
His son in law gave a tremendous Eulogy...
His best friend of 70 years and right hand man Jean Hoffman (Betty), Bill and April Reilly, Jim and Barbara Cassata were at my table at his Brooklea Country Club mainstay.
